Southeast Asia’s leading ride-hailing platform, GrabTaxi, has announced on Jan 28 that it has rebrand itself as Grab.

This means that all the company’s services: GrabTaxi, GrabCar, GrabBike, GrabHitch and GrabExpress will be under one umbrella brand.

In the latest press release, Grab informed that they will be holding a Grab Freedom Day in Singapore on 30 Jan – a day where Grabbers including the management team will get behind the wheels to give passengers free rides. If you are lucky to take the ride driven by them, your ride will be free.

The proceeds from the event will be donated to charities.

Passengers who book vehicles driven by Grabbers will ride for free, and the value of the ride will be donated to charities across the region.
