Have a Magical Shopping Experience at Singapore’s Disney Store

Lion City dwellers can experience the magic of Disney as they shop its online store. Sadly, Disneyland Singapore is not opening anytime soon. However, Disney fans can rejoice for the opening of the new shopDisney store. It is an online store filled with character-themed merchandise such as Frozen pillowcases and Star Wars apparel. This shop spans from the classic Mickey & Friends and Winnie-the-Pooh to Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars characters.

OPENING ON 14 JUNE, 2022

According to the media release of the Walt Disney Company Southeast Asia, the first collection will be released on 14 June, 2022. This collection will feature more than a thousand items across different Disney franchises featuring collectibles, home and living products, stationery, gifts, baby items, toys, adult fashion and accessories, and more.

You will be able to shop merchandise and other products from the actual Disney Park Shops overseas. New arrivals will come each week.

This first collection includes limited edition collaborations and global collections. Limited edition collaborations will see the likes of Disney x COACH leather goods and handbags, Asia Pacific-exclusive ranges, and other fan-favorites such as Mickey Mouse and Winnie the Pooh. Global collections include the Sakura series. This is an exclusive series designed by The Disney Store in Japan.

1. AUTHENTIC DISNEY PARKS PRODUCTS

A variety of Disney Park products can be bought at shopDisney such as Ear Headbands, Spirit Jerseys, and Loungefly Backpacks. Keep on the lookout for the famous “Mickey Mouse: The Main Attraction” series, which is inspired by the Disney Park attractions like Mad Tea Party and Space Mountain.

2. GLOBAL COLLECTIBLES

Limited edition dolls from Mickey & Minnie Doll Set, Ultimate Princess Celebration, and Disney Designer Collection can delight you. The trending pocket-sized Disney nuiMOs plush toys are also available.

Disney Glass Containers can be redeemed at 7-Eleven stores from 27 October 2021

Disney+ streaming service now available

The much-anticipated streaming service by The Walt Disney Company is now launched in Singapore and it is ready for sign up from today, February, 23.

Disney+ is the latest on demand video streaming service to be available to viewers in Singapore. It will feature over 650 films and 15,000 episodes of content from 6 Disney content brands – Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and Star. It offers thousands of hours of entertainment for all ages, all in one place.

The launch is announced in a Facebook post today:

Subscribers can stream videos 24/7 from their favourite titles such as The Mandalorian, WandaVision, Avengers: Endgame, Lady and the Tramp, Frozen II, Raya and the Last Dragon and many more.

Catch The Mandalorian, the new Star Wars series that stars Pedro Pascal as the title character.

Grey’s Anatomy, How I Met Your Mother, Prison Break are among a number of shows that will be available on Disney+.

Disney+ will be available to stream on most devices such as mobile devices, desktop browsers, game consoles, set-top boxes, and smart TVs.

This Disney-themed home is an inspiration to Disney fans looking to live in a magical world

For the Hermansons, a family of four, they channelled their love for Disney right from their hearts to their home. Those who are getting your BTO flat or new apartment soon and happen to be Disney fans, this is truly an inspiration to look up to.

#1: The entrance speaks a thousand words

We love how the entrance already gives us a glimpse of how the house is going to look like. Step right into Disney magic as Mickey and Minnie Mouse welcome you back home.

#2: Rapunzel-themed living room

If you’re one that spends the bulk of your time in the living room chilling with Netflix, then a Rapunzel-themed living room sounds just about right. The Disney princess is usually spotted in a purple dress and thus explains the purple furniture and decorations from the couch to the flag banner and floor mat.

#3: Beauty and the Beast dining experience

It’s about time Beauty and the Beast makes its appearance. The dining area features high detailed ornate chairs and a Beauty and the Beast picture that sets the Disney mood for your meals.

Lumiere, Cogsworth, and Mrs Potts and Chip are also your dining companions in the dining room.

#4: Princessy bedroom fit for royalty

Bedroom, a place where desires, fantasies, and dreams come true! Let Cinderella accompany you as you hit the sack. And we’re not talking just about having a princessy bed frame to fit the theme.

But it really takes effort to create such a room fit for royalty. If you noticed the nightstands by the beds, you will be surprised to know that it didn’t look the way it is now. Here’s it before the couple’s DIY labour.

From the matching paint-combination to the door pulls, it was given fresh coats of paint and new life.

#5: The Little Mermaid bathroom

Thoughtfully planned out, don’t you think The Little Mermaid fits in right where it should be – the bathroom? Everything from the wall decorations to the bathmat and shower curtain catches the eye but yet not a bit out of place.

The seashell necklace belonging to Ariel’s daughter, Melody, is also an added charm to the bathroom. Oh yes, if you have another bathroom to work the Aladdin concept, go ahead!

We’re simply wowed by the elaborate designs executed by the Hermansons. Even the washbasin spout takes on the shape of the magic lamp in Aladdin.

A lot of hard work involved but definitely worth every effort upon seeing the finished project. Hope this has been an inspiration for you too!
