Time is ticking as we’re counting down to Christmas, including the shopping and feasting that come with it. If you’ve yet to get your hands on some delectable delights to celebrate this jolly festive season, you’ve got only a few more days before pre-order closes at Cold Storage!
Several feast selections are already sold out, but there are a few choices under S$35 for those on a budget. While delivery slots are now full, you can still make your purchase (no minimum spend) and collect at the nearest Cold Storage store.
Let’s take a closer look at what’s available, shall we?
How does curried cream sauce sound to you? Mixed with chicken chunks, veggies, and juicy pineapple, this dish is appropriate for an ever-tropical Singapore Christmas celebration. Before serving, transfer the pack into a pan and heat until simmering.
Lasagne with chicken, mushrooms, and fresh herbs, when paired with saucy and cheesy Bechamel sauce, is a match made in heaven. Serve this all-time favourite with the Festive Garden Spinach Salad (S$15) to make it a healthier meal! Remove the plastic cover and warm it up in a convection oven (pre-heated to 180℃) at about 140℃ for 8 minutes.
For a select group of people, Cold Storage has included this special plate of vegetarian and non-meat bites. It’s a union of Impossible™ meat patties, kale and cheese patties, mixed olive salad, roasted mushrooms with feta, marinated bocconcini, and spicy red pepper dip. Ready to serve!
Stuffed with a palatable combination of spinach and cheese, this pork sausage roll is perfect with mashed potatoes or any side dishes of your choice. To prepare, remove packaging, cover with foil, and reheat in the oven for about 6 – 8 minutes at 160°C.
This pork belly is filled with paprika, dried berries, mushrooms, and olives. The result? A delicately crisped outer and a lusciously moist inner to reward your taste buds. To heat up, preheat your oven to 165°C, cover with aluminium foil before popping it in for approximately 20 minutes.
Cold Storage invites you to enjoy Christmas with their yummy platter of classic Smoked Bratwursts and German Pork Bratwursts with contemporary Pork Sausages with Cranberries and Chicken Sausages with Sundried Tomatoes. Wow! That was a mouthful. For extra crisp and char, fry up in a pan before serving.
Get drunk on this delicious tray of Chicken Cheese Cocktail (400g), Chicken Ham (300g), Chicken Cocktail (400g), and Chicken Hotlink (400g)! For the best flavour and fragrance, fry in a pan on medium heat or warm up in the oven at 165°C for 12 – 18 minutes till the desired colour is achieved.
A comforting Christmas sweet treat like the Bread & Butter Pudding with Custard is much needed for a heartwarming small gathering at home. To make ready for dessert time, remove the tray from the vacuum bag and place it in the oven at 160°c for 10 minutes.
For those who can’t seem to appreciate custard-inspired recipes, that’s perfectly fine! How about some fluffy and savoury cheesecake to end the Christmas feast on a right note? No oven needed to serve. Thaw and have it your way.
Keep the traditions going even during merrymaking! This two-tier Kueh Salat Cake comes with fragrant pandan custard on top of a bed of coconut-steamed glutinous rice. Storing not required. Just open and take a slice at room temperature.
