We had Tim Ho Wan.
Now let’s get excited with the best wonton noodles in Hong Kong.
According to Straits Times, Mak’s Noodle from Hong Kong will open its first store at The Centrepoint by the end of this month. (*Update: To open on 4 July 2015, 3pm)
That is certainly good news for food lovers as we can now have our favourite Cantonese noodle dish in the heart of our city.
Mak’s Noodle has won the heart of many with its use of ‘authentic’ Cantonese ingredients – dumplings made from fresh shrimps and its soup broth made from powdered dried flounder, dried shrimps and pork bones.
A bowl of noodles is expected to cost $6.90, according to Straits Time.
Popular food blogger Daniel Ang, from DanielFoodDiary, has written a review on his visit to Mak’s Noodle in Hong Kong. Read it here: http://danielfooddiary.com/2014/12/14/maksnoodle/
Even New York celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain had sang praises of it.
I’m sure you want to be the first to try it when it arrives in Singapore. You might have to queue for it just as when Tim Ho Wan opened its first outlet in Singapore.
