Famous lor mee from Old Airport Road to open second outlet
The legendary lor mee from Old Airport Road, Xin Mei Xiang Zeng Zong Lor Mee, has announced in a Facebook post last month that they will be opening a second outlet in August 2021. Touted as one of the best lor mee in Singapore, the stall has been featured in MICHELIN Guide Singapore in 2019. The smooth and savoury braised gravy is what makes it stand out from the rest, along with the generous toppings that goes into your bowl.
We got excited when we first found out that they will be opening a second store in Signapore.
In their latest post, they confirmed that their second outlet at Balestier will be officially opened on 5 August 2021. It will be opened from 9.30am to 9pm or until sold out. There will be a limit of 500 bowls for takeaway so it is highly likely they will be sold out much earlier than that.
Their second outlet is an air-conditioned, standalone unit located at the first floor of Eastpac Building. There is already a queue on the first day of their opening:
Here’s their menu for your reference:
A normal bowl here costs $6 while a larger one costs $8. They also has a ‘Foodking All-in Bowl‘ that comes with all the toppings for $10. You can also top up $1 for fried fish roe, fried fish flakes, braised pork and more.
