Signature Crispy Chao Ta Beehoon
Malaysian flavours are plenty to be found, especially in the Claypot Herbal Bak Kut Teh ($28.80 for 2 pax), slow-cooked from the chef’s very own recipe. Available only for lunch, it is made from a secret blend of herbs and spices, resulting in a broth thick and rich with the savouriness of meat and laced nourishing fragrance of herbs
Not to be missed is also the Spinach & Clams in Broth 上汤拉拉苋菜 ($12.80) that cooks fresh clams and spinach with a trio of century, salted and regular egg in a clear broth, resulting in a bowl of goodness that blooms with the best umami sweetness of the sea. Juicy clams come together with crisp, sweet spinach for a winning dish that will have you slurping to the last drop.

A crowd favourite is the Signature Yellow Wine Chicken in Claypot, 招牌砂煲黄酒鸡 ($16.80) a whole claypot of nutritious chicken broth simmered from a whole chicken in a specially aged yellow rice wine. The wine tenderizes the chicken while extracting its best vitamins and minerals for a stew that warms the lips, heart and stomach. The chicken takes on a tenderness unlike any other from the concentrated heat of the pot, rendered fall-off-the-bone tender for a hearty bowl of goodness.
Fish lovers will revel in the Steamed Patin Fish in Special Nyonya Sauce 娘惹巴丁鱼 ($58.00) a whole patin fish simply steamed to retain its natural sweetness before served doused in a sweet, sour, spicy and savoury four-dimensional Nyonya sauce. It invokes all the best flavours to enjoy the fish.
The restaurant also serves contemporaneous dishes that’s bound to capture hearts of the young and young at heart. Golden Prawns with Popcorn 黄金爆米虾球 ($16.80) presents crispy whole prawns deep-fried to a golden brown then coated with a delectable butter sauce; additional popcorn lends an extra creaminess and crunch for a sweet and savoury dish found nowhere else.

Something fun that the children will love is the Chicken Lollipop with Cereal 黄金棒棒鸡 ($14.80) that cooks balled up chicken pieces on the bone, pushed to the ends of the bone to create the appearance of a lollipop then coated with flavourful cereal and deep-fried until golden brown for that extra crunch.
For dessert, sweeten things off with the Yam Paste with Pumpkin Sauce 金汁芋泥 ($5.00) that steers away from the conventional orh nee with the use of a fragrant pumpkin sauce instead of coconut cream for a lighter and healthier version of this traditional dessert.
