This holiday season, Changi Airport invites visitors to embark on a festive journey like never before, marking Hello Kitty’s 50th anniversary with the fifth edition of the Changi Festive Village. From November 1, 2024, through February 16, 2025, travelers and fans of the beloved Sanrio character can revel in an enchanting wonderland bursting with joy, charm, and carnival magic.
At Terminal 3 (T3) Departure Hall, visitors will be greeted by a stunning 8-meter Hello Kitty topiary, surrounded by her friends, including My Melody, Kuromi, and Cinnamoroll. The Hello Kitty Festive Wonderland offers joyful moments, from a thrilling 7-meter rainbow slide to weekend meet-and-greet sessions for a photo op with Sanrio favorites. Snowfall shows bring a wintery sparkle, creating a magical experience for all.
From November 14, guests can also hunt for Hello Kitty and her friends scattered across Terminals 1 to 4, capturing charming photo moments at each of the 15 themed locations, including Hello Kitty in a rickshaw and a spinning Pompompurin.
The fun continues with a nine-zone Sanrio-themed carnival at the T3 Arrival Hall, featuring games, rides, and larger-than-life figurines. Visitors can collect limited-edition Sanrio prizes, including plush toys and character-inspired keepsakes, by winning tickets at the game booths. Each zone showcases a different character, promising endless fun and plenty of photo opportunities.
Adding a splash to the festivities is Changi Airport’s debut water attraction, Cosmic HydroPark. Located at the T3 Coach Bay, this inflatable water park is filled with exciting activities, from water gun battles on floating boats to a giant slide, obstacle courses, and a kiddy pool for young hydro-nauts. Tickets for Cosmic HydroPark are available on the Changi App, with special family bundles and discounts.
To complete the Sanrio holiday experience, pop-up shops across the terminals offer exclusive Hello Kitty and Friends merchandise.
Shoppers spending S$60 or more can purchase exclusive Changi premiums, like the Hello Kitty hand warmer cushion and a stylish puffy bag, with special discounts for Mastercard and Changi Pay users.
Visitors can also take advantage of the Changi App’s Space APPxplorer gamification experience, where they stand to win up to one million Changi Rewards points and other prizes by completing fun in-app missions and participating in daily challenges.
With Hello Kitty’s festive spirit in every corner, Changi Airport promises a season of excitement, making it the ultimate holiday destination for travelers and families alike.
