During the circuit breaker when shops were closed, I saw more people taking walks than usual. Well, can’t blame anyone… It was an excuse to go out and take a breather. But now that Singapore has moved on to phase two with the economy slowly opening, there seems to be a drop in the number of people exercising at my neighbourhood park.

#1: WHEN IS IT?
As you would have probably guessed, the Skechers Friendship Walk 2020 will be a virtual event. The online event will be held over a few weeks from 7 to 20 September. This is its third edition!
#2: RACE CATEGORIES
There will be three race categories – 3km, 5km, and 10km. So that’s about 4,000, 6,000, and 13,000 steps respectively. You can either run the distance or walk to clock the steps.

#4: IS THERE A RACE PACK?
There is no physical pack but you do get race entitlements at no extra cost. You will receive a 30% Skechers discount voucher when you sign up. Use this discount voucher to buy any of the Skechers GOwalk series!
