In May 1978, IKEA opened their doors to the first IKEA store on 6th Avenue and you opened your homes to LACK, BILLY & POÄNG – just some of the many pieces of flat pack furniture that have since become household names.

Since then, they’ve made beautiful homes a reality for the many through functional and affordable designs – an endeavour that’s still going strong 40 years on.
